In Lausanne, this growing rise of awareness in the medical community is a starting point for acting toward a better integration of gender at a practical level in medical education. This project faces the challenge of engaging professionals who are not accustomed to gender analysis in shifting their actual practice and including a gender-sensitive perspective.
This conference session aims to explore the practical aspects of implementing a gender perspective into undergraduate teaching in the Medical School of Lausanne. The conference will discuss the challenges, strategies and experiences in shifting teaching practices of medical school in a way that allows a transverse integration of a gender perspective.Programme
