"Swiss Perinatal Research Network"
We are very excited to invite you on 17th May 2019 to join us in Lausanne for a one-day scientific conference on Swiss Perinatal Research.
Friday 17 May 2019 (8h30 - 18h00) - CHUV - Auditoire Charlotte Olivier
As you will be aware, there are researchers from different disciplines throughout Switzerland doing great work on perinatal mental health but the potential of our combined interdisciplinary research for Swiss policy, practice and on the international stage has yet to be realized. With this event, we aim to draw together researchers currently working on perinatal mental health, across disciplines (psychologists, midwives, nurses, psychiatrists, pediatricians, neonatologists), to network, share knowledge and explore the implementation potential of our work.
We intend to sustain the connections and knowledge-sharing community created in this event through the establishment of the Swiss Perinatal Research Network. This network will be dedicated to sharing and fostering research focusing on physical, psychological and social factors affecting perinatal mental health of mother, fathers and babies.
The event is the initiative of an interdisciplinary collaborative network of clinicians and researchers in Lausanne and thus will take place at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV). The day is aimed at all those involved in perinatal research, clinicians and researchers, at all levels. Please distribute this amongst your networks, research groups or those you think might be interested. It is the intention to be as inclusive as possible.
The day will be made up of keynote talks from international speakers on topics related to perinatal mental health; talks and posters from you, the attendees, sharing your most recent work, and networking opportunities. We would like to represent the different disciplines involved in perinatal mental health research and hope to showcase the breadth of our combined research through the collection of talks. We will be inviting you and your research group to register, and submit abstracts for talks and posters in the coming weeks.
We are very excited to see you all there and to get a good view of the landscape of fantastic perinatal research being carried out throughout Switzerland.
