With Prof. Renée Adams (Female Career Award)
Want to know more about how to plan your academic career as a woman researcher and PhD or Postdoc at HEC? In the realm of the Female Career Award that goes to Renée Adams (Renée Adams website), the Equal Opportunity Committee of the HEC organizes a round table discussion about being a woman in academia with Prof. Renée Adams for all PhD students and Postdocs at HEC (men are welcome too, the discussion will however focus on the female career)!
This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions about the academic career, to learn from role models, and to discuss issues related to all aspects of an academic career. It is also an opportunity to connect with other PhD and Postdocs at HEC and to learn about the pitfalls and personal experience of more advanced woman colleagues. Besides Renée Adams, Marianne Schmid Mast, full professor at the Department of Organizational Behavior and president of the equal opportunity committee will chair the session and also contribute with her experience. It is a fun and informal gathering!
All PhDs and Postdocs are warmly welcomed to join us for coffee and interesting and inspiring exchange on Thursday May 16th from 2 pm to 4 pm in room 149 Internef (next to cafeteria).
The participation is free but your registration is needed for organizational reasons.
Thank you for filling the Doodle out by Monday May 13th.
Please come, even if you do not have a specific question, hearing from others can also be inspiring! I am looking forward to seeing you for the round table!
Prof. Schmid Mast
