Misinformation in a post-truth world: an analysis of climate change denial narratives
In a post-truth world, public opinion is influenced by emotions and personal beliefs rather than scientific facts. Widespread misinformation has hindered action required to tackle public health and environmental challenges. This study uses a mixed-method approach to analyse narratives told in climate change denial documentaries. Our findings offer insights into how narratives distort scientific facts through the use of emotions and framing.
