Shabnur Parveen is a PhD student at the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, India. She is a visiting doctoral student at the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Lausanne. Her PhD work focuses on understanding the Islamic idea of feminism in contemporary Muslim women’s autobiographies.
